Return & Refund Policy

At DesiWoods, every piece of furniture is handcrafted using solid wood and premium materials. Since most of our products are made-to-order, our refund and return policy is structured accordingly.

Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.


1. Made-to-Order Products

Most of our furniture is custom-manufactured after order confirmation.

Because of this, we do not accept returns for:

  • Change of mind

  • Incorrect size selection

  • Personal preference

  • Wood grain or color variations

  • Minor finish differences

Natural wood variations are part of authentic craftsmanship and are not considered defects.


2. Order Cancellation & Modification

Customers may cancel or modify their order within 24 hours of placing it.

After 24 hours:

  • No cancellation allowed

  • No modification allowed

  • No refund will be issued

Production begins shortly after order confirmation, and materials are allocated specifically for your order.


3. Mandatory Unboxing Video (Important)

To ensure fair resolution of damage or missing product claims:

Customers must record a clear unboxing video at the time of delivery.

The video must clearly show:

  • Sealed packaging before opening

  • Complete unboxing process

  • Product condition

  • Any visible damage or missing parts

This unboxing video is mandatory proof.

Claims without an unboxing video will not be accepted.


4. Damaged or Missing Products

If you receive a damaged product or notice missing items:

  • Inform us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Email the unboxing video along with clear photos/videos to:
    info@desiwoods.com

Claims reported after 48 hours will not be considered.


5. Refund & Replacement Eligibility

Refunds or replacements are applicable only in case of:

  • Verified manufacturing defects

  • Transit damage (with valid unboxing video)

  • Missing products (with valid unboxing video)

DesiWoods reserves the right to:

  • Repair the product

  • Replace the defective part

  • Replace the product

  • Offer store credit (if applicable)

Refunds are not guaranteed and are processed only if replacement or repair is not feasible.


6. Refund Processing Timeline

If a refund is approved:

  • It will be processed within 7–10 business days

  • Refund will be credited to the original payment method

Processing time may vary depending on the payment provider or bank.


7. Non-Returnable Situations

We do not accept returns for:

  • Improper handling after delivery

  • Damage caused by water, sunlight, or chemicals

  • Scratches or dents after installation

  • Self-assembly mistakes

  • Commercial usage damage
