2. Products & Craftsmanship

All furniture sold on DesiWoods is handcrafted using solid wood and premium-quality materials.

Most products are made-to-order, meaning manufacturing starts only after order confirmation.

Due to the natural characteristics of solid wood:

  • Wood grain, color tone, and texture may vary

  • Minor size or finish variations may occur

  • Product images are for reference only

These natural variations are not considered defects.


3. Manufacturing & Delivery Timeline

Since products are customized:

  • Manufacturing time: Approximately 3–4 weeks

  • Delivery after dispatch: Around 7–10 days (depending on location)

Timelines are estimates and may vary due to production workload, logistics, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.


4. Shipping Policy

We offer FREE shipping across India on all orders.

Customers must provide accurate delivery address and contact details. Any re-delivery due to incorrect information may attract additional charges.


5. Free Assembly Service

We provide complimentary assembly service in most serviceable locations.

Assembly availability depends on local partners. In remote areas, self-assembly guidance may be provided if technician service is unavailable.


6. Payments

Full payment is required at the time of order placement unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Orders are processed only after successful payment confirmation.


7. Order Cancellation & Modification Policy

As all furniture is custom-made:

Customers may cancel or modify their order within 24 hours of placing it.

After 24 hours:

  • No cancellations allowed

  • No modifications accepted

  • No refunds provided

This is because production begins shortly after confirmation and materials are reserved specifically for your order.

Please review product details, sizes, and specifications carefully before purchasing.


8. Mandatory Unboxing Video, Damage & Missing Product Policy

All products undergo strict quality checks before dispatch.

To raise any claim related to damage or missing items, customers must record a clear unboxing video at the time of delivery.

The video must clearly show:

  • Sealed package opening

  • Product condition

  • Any visible damage or missing components

The unboxing video is mandatory proof.

If you receive a damaged product or missing item:

  • Inform us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Share the unboxing video along with photos/videos at info@desiwoods.com

Claims submitted without an unboxing video or after 48 hours of delivery will not be accepted.


9. Returns & Refund Policy

Due to the made-to-order nature of our furniture, we do not accept returns for:

  • Change of mind

  • Size preference

  • Wood grain or color variation

Refunds or replacements are considered only in case of:

  • Manufacturing defects

  • Transit damage (with valid unboxing video)

  • Missing products (with valid unboxing video)

Approved refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method.


10. Warranty Policy

We provide a 3-Year Warranty on all furniture products against manufacturing defects, starting from the date of delivery.

Warranty Covers:

  • Structural manufacturing defects

  • Joinery or craftsmanship issues

  • Material defects related to production

Warranty Does NOT Cover:

  • Natural wood variations

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Scratches, dents after delivery

  • Water damage, moisture exposure, or sunlight fading

  • Mishandling, accidents, or improper usage

  • Damage during relocation or third-party handling

  • Improper installation or self-assembly issues

  • Commercial usage unless specified

DesiWoods reserves the right to repair, replace, or offer store credit at its discretion. Refunds are not guaranteed.

Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.


11. Product Care

Solid wood furniture requires proper maintenance:

  • Avoid direct sunlight and moisture

  • Clean with dry or slightly damp cloth

  • Avoid harsh chemicals

Improper care voids warranty and responsibility from DesiWoods.


12. Intellectual Property

All website content including images, designs, text, and logos belong to DesiWoods / DS Exports and may not be copied or reused without written permission.


13. Limitation of Liability

DesiWoods shall not be liable for indirect damages, delivery delays, or losses caused by circumstances beyond our control.


14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Indian law. Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
